Skilled Tanker Welder/Mechanic
The selected employee will have a broad range of welding skills covering various metals including carbon steel, aluminum, stainless and other alloys.
ASME certification is preferred but not required.
Typically several years of dedicated work in the welding arts is required to qualify for the position.
In a typical day the incumbent will make repairs to a tanker to insure it meets all safety and servicability requirements demanded by the industry and safety regulators.
A welder may, from time to time, be called on to perform other services we provide in order to complete a job on a timely basis.
